Travel for the Destiny

In 1971, Mr. Hari made the courageous decision to support his family, prompting him to journey to Erode in search of a job. His passion for cooking, which was ingrained in his being, led him to Mr. Gopal Iyer, and it was here that his fervor for the culinary arts flourished. Day by day, his dedication to cooking continued to blossom.

Creation of Territory

In 1979, Mr. Hari was determined to realize his ambitions of preparing the food he desired and working for a business of which he could be proud, so he established Hari Catering Service.

Production and Sales of Diwali Sweets

​

With the enthusiastic reception for the Sweets made for the Catering Events, Mr. Hari realized that sweets could be an effective way to reach people of all backgrounds swiftly, and thus started producing and selling sweets for Diwali in the year 1984.

​

These services are only made available a week before Diwali, enabling people to observe the live preparation of sweets, sample some, and buy their preferred variety. Even today, there is a tremendous love and demand for Diwali Special 'Hari Sweets' amongst the people of Erode.

Sweet Shop

The immense popularity that Hari Sweets had gained among the Erodians gave Mr. Hari the momentum to open a shop in 1990 that would serve the public with sweets and snacks all year round.

First Ever Buffet Service at Erode

​

The year 1998 was the era when Erode and its vicinities were presented only with dining options by caterers for any occasion. Mr Hari astounded the attendees of a wedding event by providing the 5-Star Hotel experience with a buffet set up.

​

This remarkable feat elevated the Catering Industry in Erode and revolutionized the way clients perceived caterers.

Food Service from Personalized Cook Place

​

In the year 2000, in order to meet the increasing demand for small catering orders of up to 500 people, a personalised kitchen facility was established at Karungalpalayam. This facility soon became the go-to source of food service for many small events, resulting in an influx of large orders.

Food Carnival at Erode

​

In the year 2001, a Food Carnival was organized by Hari Catering to tantalize the taste buds of Erodians with their exquisite cuisine. Almost the entire menu of Hari Catering was presented for the guests to savor the flavors.

​

The whole of Erode was invited to partake in this flavorsome festival. This remarkable event brought Hari Catering much acclaim among its competitors and propelled it to fame among the people of Erode.

Facilities at Karungalpalayam

In 2002, an office facility was set up at Karungalpalayam, for our day-to-day operations, planning and to meet our Clients.

​

This facility is outfitted with an In-house Kitchen capable of preparing food for up to 1,000 members at a time, as well as storage rooms to store a variety of essential and disposable items.

Dabba Service

​

A highly acclaimed Dabba Service was established to provide office goers with delectable dishes in the year 2003. Every day, an exquisite South Indian meal was prepared and put into Dabbas, which were thereafter transported to their intended locations. Unfortunately, this service had to be discontinued due to an inadequate level of demand.

Feat on Institutional Catering

In 2003,  we commenced providing canteen facilities at BVB Schools across all three of its campuses.  Preparing meals for the children heightened our sense of responsibility and necessitated us to take an even more discerning look at our standards of food preparation, thereby raising the profile of Hari Catering Service among parents.

Massive Catering Event Ever Executed by us

Our commitment to customer service, exquisite food and creative approach to social event catering has earned us a stellar reputation among our clients. This reputation yielded us to work on the biggest catering event for the distinguished Adhiparasakthi Temple in the year 2006.

​

This was the most massive Catering event we have ever executed as a Labour work up to now. Food was served for the full 3 days for all three sessions, accommodating 1,00,000 members for each session.

2nd Massive Catering Event Ever Executed by us

​

The experience we gained through catering for the Adhiparasakthi temple event and the fame we hold had given us the opportunity to work on the next massive event for the esteemed Vinayaga Mission group of Institutions in the year 2008.

​

This was the most massive Catering event we have ever executed as a Contract work up to now. Food was served for the full 3 days for all three sessions, accommodating 60,000 members for each session.

Accredited Vocational Award for Catering

​

For his achievement and continuous best service in the Field of Catering, Mr. Hari has been conferred with a Vocational award in the Year 2009 by Rotary Club of Erode.

Launch of Production Unit 

​

In the year 2009, a Production facility was established at Thottipalayam, taking up an area of 1 Acre amidst lush surroundings.

​

This stimulating and thriving workspace is equipped with an in-house kitchen and storerooms for vessels, utensils, cooktops, and buffet stalls, granting us the capacity to prepare food for a maximum of 10,000 people.

Set up of a High Class Vegetarian Restaurant

​

The Erodians longing for want of a quality South Indian Vegetarian restaurant has been brought to an end when Sree Hari Bhavan opened its doors in the Year 2015. Sree Hari Bhavan was opened with much fanfare, quickly becoming a favorite among the city's vegetarian diners.

 

​Unfortunately, the sharp rise in catering orders necessitated that the restaurant is closed often, resulting in the lack of regular customers and ultimately bringing about its closure for good in 2018.

Born as a Nobleman

​

Founder, Mr. Hari was born in 1957 in a small village in Cuddalore, Tamilnadu, India. Growing up in a traditional South Indian family, he inherited his passion, knowledge, and love for cooking from his father who was a cook at his own hotel.

Certified by FSSAI

In the Year 2017, Hari Catering Service has been adjudged as a Company that serves the highest quality food and meets all safety and hygiene regulations by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).

​

This certification has become a valuable asset for the company and is duly renewed every year, as it helps in building trust and credibility with our clients and the certification.

Certified by FASTAC

​

Mr Gokulakrishanan was certified by FASTAC in the Year 2021 after undergoing training as the Catering and Food Safety Supervisor. Which further strengthened the Core Values of Hari Catering.
